Kentucky Unemployment Insurance

Anyone experiencing issues with their Kentucky Unemployment Insurance that is interested in making an in-person appointment can do so at kcc.ky.gov. You will click on schedule an appointment and be able to choose the office closest to you.  It is our understanding that the appointments are taken up quickly.

 NOTICE

Appointments are now available for in person appointments at select Kentucky Career Center locations. These appointments are for individuals who need unemployment insurance or job seeker assistance. New appointments open up Monday – Friday at 9:00 AM EDT for the next available day.

Special Instructions:

• Bring two forms of acceptable ID documents. Go to kcc.ky.gov under employment services to review the acceptable ID documents list.
• You must wear a mask at all times during the appointment.
• Please remain in your vehicle until five minutes before your scheduled appointment. Due to concerns about the spread of COVID-19 lines outside of offices are not permitted.
• Photo ID is required to enter the building. 
• Your temperature will be taken at the door due to COVID-19.
• While we make every effort to answer all your questions during this appointment, UI specialists may not be able to provide a resolution during a single appointment. Some claims could require additional paperwork or take additional time to complete.
